Heart's Quest Celebrations Of Love Challenges #11 design team projects on 3 Nov 2025

why: This posting showcases two projects for Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Challenges Blog #11. HQCOLCB has 5 main themes coded as BEWAS for birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and sympathies. The optional event theme for #11/November is Christmas. This year, HQCOLCB has been promoting holidays one month prior to the month that they occur. We have a new design team member too who is joining DT Meena and I.

I needed a sympathy card so that's my main theme card and then I did a non-traditional mixed media Christmas card for the #11 optional event theme.

when: #11 starts November 3 and ends November 30, 2025.

what: Project #1: from BEWAS main themes ==> S for Sympathy

how-to & vendor notes for #1: the idea for this was 'the wheels of time keep turning'

1. glossy satin specialty paper = Crafter's Square (scrap pack bought either 2 or 3 years ago; several pieces sitting in my scrap box)

2. the chevron print paper panel = from an old card kit from Simple Stories

3. the sage green print washi tape = Farmstead Harvest collection by American Crafts (newest item used on this card)

4. stamp for sentiment = from a mixed bag of clear stamps/unmarked bag; unsure; was given set in a friendship box

5. brown marker pen = Zebra Clickart

6. the wheels and screws puffy embossed stickers = Crafter's Square

The Neglected Stuff Challenge; new on Nov 3; theme is title; used an old/forgotten item; on my sympathy card, the chevron print paper, the panel was part of a card making kit from Simple Stories...several years ago; the peach-tan paper and the glossy satin base paper have been in my scrap box for at least 2 years; maybe closer to 3 years!

1C. Girlz Creative= Splash It with Color; new on Oct 31; theme color is pine green; the chevron paper has a muted darker green color and the washi tape strips are same shade/tone of green; most of the other colors are neutrals or metallics

1D. Inspired By; new on Oct 30; theme of leggings/see image and also a sketch; my sympathy card's colors were inspired by the image's muted/darker tones and ideal for a visually calming condolences card

24. Crafter's Square = silver embossed flower using as a poinsettia

25. Lawn Fawn = Guava/pink-coral ink mini stamp pad for edging

26. stash = black ink pen for outlining everything except the pink base

27. Crafter's Square multi-color pack = 12" square cardstock; the pink was measured and cut to create 4 - 6" squares

FarmQuest Home Challenges #3 AHG theme DT projects on 2 Nov 2025

why: This posting showcases my new DT/owner inspiration projects for #3 FarmQuest Home Challenges Blog or FQHCB! #3 already! Anything Home Goes theme which is typical items or activities found inside or outside of a house/housing. Raking leaves, mowing the lawn, playing fetch with the dog, sitting on the porch, getting mail out of the mailbox, etc. are exterior ideas. For inside the house, think about the different zones such as dining, making coffee, slicing ham, buttering bread, fluffing pillows, creating a blanket or sheet tent for kids, stacking presents around the Christmas tree and many others.

For inside the house, I just recently got an order in the mail with K & Company Antique Garden dimensional embellishments and sticker book and put together this little faux wall display with a framed picture and a vase with flowers.

For outside the house, I used other items from the collection for this garden/yard setting birthday card.

when: #3 starts on November 2 and ends on November 30, 2025.

My Critter Crazy Challenges #104 agfc theme choice DT alligator project on 1 Nov 2025
