why: This posting is showcasing some creative love with a new shaped card and shaped tag for HQFSCAT #7! HQFSCAT is code for Heart's Quest For Shaped Cards and Tags challenge blog. The theme is always anything goes on shaped cards and/or shaped tags. The only shape not allowed is a standard 4-corner/90 degrees rectangle. I've taken time to create a candle-topped cupcake shaped birthday card plus embellishing a dog-ear tag, adding ribbons, etc.

My featured FQCB #73 farmhouse in or out theme DT projects for 28 June 2025

why: this posting features my latest rural creative spin for FQCB or FarmQuest Challenge Blog #73. The theme this time is "farmhouse in or out" so it could be outside the farmhouse on the porch or in the yard or at the mailbox, etc. Inside the farmhouse, it could be looking out the kitchen window or the upstairs bedroom window; a stack of folded laundry on the stairs waiting to be carried up; etc. I decided to do an outside the farmhouse with elements for wash day: washboard/scrub board, kettle, clothesline and pins, bucket, soap, clothes hanging from the line. For the other project, I chose another embroidery pattern from the same booklet with this time being a water pump outside.

what: Project #2 = the old water pump outside (some of the fancier farmhouses and even some city houses way back when, had water pumps in their kitchens; generally they would be smaller than those outside near the house and/or the barns. When my parents bought our childhood home (I was 5 1/2 years old) there were 3 water pumps/wells on the property. One near the back door, another one near a small garden patch and chicken house located on the other side of the alley and the last one was a bit further away near 3 hog houses that the previous owners left behind.

Loving my HQCB #75 AG choice of farmhouse + blue heart + red hearts 28 June 2025

why: This posting showcases my newest HQCB or Heart's Quest Challenge Blog themes for #75. It's anything goes with blue and/or red heart(s). I chose to have one large blue heart, 1 medium red glitter heart, and 1 small white with little red hearts sticker. My anything goes choice was to feature this farmhouse ephemera along with a floral tag from the same ephemera pack that have blues and reds.
