FQCB Theme #5 showcased

 Welcome to Becca's Heart Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

On this blog I am featuring cards/projects made for HQCB and FQCB, two challenge blogs that I started in 2022. 

This posting features FarmQuest Theme #5:

*use herbs or foliage branch/leafy stem

AND

*use a clay pot/s or vase

Garden inspired whether you think of herbs on the windowsill or have in an outdoor barrel or garden plot. The other option is a leafy branch. Sometimes we do a few for filler with some flowers but sometimes the simplicity of a single stem is all that is needed. Lots of flex with this and there are lots of formats to choose from too!

Cards, ATCs, tags, bookmarks, journals/planners, TN spreads, and various sizes and types of scrapbook layouts...have fun!

My inspiration card:



Terrific mix of patterned papers! Thanks to Simple Stories' card kit "Love Grows Here" for the sage green tag, the text strip, the lilies of the valley, the herbs, the clay pots with shovel, and the black plaid with amber gold strip. (I like pulling elements and mixing them with older stash items.) 

Silver mirror foil decorative tape was used for a perimeter border on the white card base that came in the kit. An old Stampin' Up stamp used for the main sentiment. Most cardstock/papers edged in black ink. A few staples to add more silver metal. An easy mixed media. :)
