FQCB and HQCB Reminder Posting Projects Showcased

 Howdy! And Heartfelt Greetings from FarmQuest and Heart's Quest Challenge Blogs' owner, Becca S! 

To save time, I'm going to share both cards I made for the reminder posts released 24 hours ago to feature her on my personal blog about FQCB and HQCB. 

A bit of short history, HQCB was envisioned about 1 year ago however I felt like I didn't know enough technically about getting a challenge blog started. That changed in January when I took over the weekly management for 2 challenge blogs' that I've been on the DTs for. 

Heart's Quest officially launched its first challenge on February 28th, 2022. And FarmQuest started 1 month later. Living in the USA heartland is part of the reason why I have 1 challenge blog called Heart's Quest. I also love the idea that your heart/soul quests for creativity. 

FarmQuest News was an agricultural newspaper published and sold by my father in Missouri for many years in the late 1980s-1990s. I assisted him in typing/early word processing, old-fashioned layouts for printing, and also wrote a home lifestyle features column for many issues. He felt like and was proud of coining the name "FarmQuest". To honor his/our legacy in farming/ag-related businesses and living in 3 Midwest states since I was born, I wanted to have a farm/rural country lifestyle vibe challenge competition to reflect my heritage.

This card's die-cuts are from 2 companies (Simple Stories and Fancy Pants Designs* NEW) and the checked gingham papers are from Hot Off The Press available through Paper Wishes website. What a pretty summery porch/deck themed card this made to brighten someone's day!

Studio G is for the butterfly aperture mauve card base, Crown Jewlz for the Prayer Card (been trimmed down), several different sets of gem blings, Freckled Fawn alpha tile stickers, and an old striped patterned paper from my stash hoard.

Loving this HQCB #44 Poinsettia Day theme option DT owner card for 14 Dec 2023

  Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!   Purpose: this posting showcases Heart's Quest Challenge Blog which during 2023 pairs a special day/season/or holiday occasion with heart and/or love for themes When: #44 starts on December 14 and ends on December 27, 2023l #44 themes can be Poinsettia Day  plus  need to include some kind of heart or love What: Jolly Poinsettia Christmas card above: front panel; poinsettia die-cut and a red glitter foam heart sticker; die-cuts had a "Goldfish Orange" marker applied over them to reduce the amount of white; center panel was only gray with little white flowers with me very carefully coloring about 60% of theme; left and right panels are the same cardstock however only the skinny left strip's dots were colored with 3 basic colors below: inside panel Notes: 1. jolly tag, poinsettia, holly leaves die-cuts = Make It Merry ephemera from Simple Stories (also the inside panel label die-cut) 2. itsy bitsy be
