Combining current HQCB and FQCB Themes for a Scripture Journal Writing Entry
Howdy and Heartfelt Greetings!
This posting will feature a Scripture Journal Writing Entry
using current HQCB and FQCB themes along with 4 other challenges!
There are 7 groups/ 9 blogs that will be acknowledged! ( I think I got that figured out correctly!??!!!)
+ = + = + = + = + = + =
A. Christian Card Makers ~ Women's Fellowship group; October 2022 Inscribe the Word's Day 17 verses; month's theme is forgiveness; Luke 7: 46-47; I found the cross-reference verse photo image for verse 46 so that's why I chose only to handwrite verse 47.
B. Heart's Quest Challenge Blog's Love Theme #8 (use the word 'love' and an animal; MY layout has "my love" stamped and several animals)

C. FarmQuest Challenge Blog's Theme #14 (use denim and/or burlap; MY layout has a burlap printed ribbon that I reversed because I thought the white was too stark; I think the muted version closely matches the kraft paper used for the Scripture print-out and the wooded scene photo; and the denim is a scrap patterned paper strip with the text stickers of forgiveness and forgiven)

D. A Place To Start challenge blog; October 2022; option: circles and squares (MY layout has 2 circles plus the white painted circle dots on the burlap ribbon that are all on the left page and 3 squares on the right page)

F. 4 Season challenge blog; October; Pets (My layout has 4 shown with the children's stickers)

G. TN Times challenge blog; October 2022; Lisa's sketch (see below) and Lori's prompt (use a stamped image or date; MY layout has a leafy branch stamp and "my love" stamp)

sketch by Lisa
I did some tweaking to Lisa's sketch: (1) across the top I extended the R page horizontal band to go across to the L page because the Scripture verses were lengthy; (2) on the L page the 'label' area on top of the circle got moved up to be a 2nd subtitle with the text stickers; (3) instead of 1 large circle on the L page, I did 2 overlapped; I didn't need to have an animal print design but it helps reinforce those 2 theme challenges about pets/animals; (4) my journaling/writing/typed passage wasn't placed on the bottom R page; I've got it split to several places across the layout. (5) I added some extra embellishments with the children and women stickers. I like to think of the "grandma" as the woman who anointed Jesus' feet who loves her family very much.
