Loving HQCB Theme #23 Romantic Valentine DT inspiration project

 Loving this time of year!

I've started this blog draft on the 27th and its my/our 27th wedding anniversary! Isn't that fun that it's #27 on the 27th! Getting married between Christmas and Valentine's puts our personal gift-giving together in a short time frame yet it keeps my heart full and happy!

My hubby's love language is food. He gifts me with food, candy, and soda all the time. Too much. A couple of days ago, he got me peanut M & Ms which is one of my favorite candies. This morning he bought breakfast for us. My love language is expressions--cards and tag as well as physical acts of expressing love by filling his med planners for him every week, updating 'table/chart' lines in his diabetes sugars' log book, sewing buttons on his shirts, giving him his buzzed haircuts, etc.

Heart's Quest Challenge Blog Theme #23 is about using heart/love PLUS romantic Valentine. 

Clasped hands, hugs, XOXO, Cupid, etc. 

This is what I created with several die-cuts from Jen Hadfield for my DT inspiration project for HQCB=

[theme #23 requirements: 7 heart shapes and 'I love you' sentiment PLUS the gold foil lips, XOXO washi tape, frilly doily and traditional Valentine colors that hint of romance]

The swallowtail bird, sentiment, and lips die-cuts are from Jen Hadfield. The XOXO washi tape is Pen + Gear. The rest are stash items bought at Dollar Tree. I just the graphics and how all the different red and pink tones have made an interesting display card.
