Featuring FQGS #13.5 Reminder of AFCG theme on 21 February 2024
Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!
purpose: this posting features my DT/owner commitment to FarmQuest General Store challenge blog that is 13 months old!! After starting a themed farm/country competition about 10 months prior, I wanted to have a competition that allowed for 'anything farm/country goes'; so that's what FQGS is about.
when: #13.5 reminder notice is published on Feb 21, 2024 and the competition started February 7 and will end on March 5, 2024.
what: in 2024, FQGS started partnering with QKR Stampede as an image sponsor, so for the reminder notice I've chosen to use the "Bighorn Sheep" again like I did for the Feb 7 post.
closeup= I did lightly apply a mid-blue colored pencil to the sky but it's not showing in the scan, even in the closeup!!!! About the best spot where you can just get a hint of blue is under the Bighorn Sheep's belly!
notes:
1. "Bighorn Sheep" digital image = QKR Stampede
2. half circle looking scrap quilt patterned paper, the red and white scrap strip, and the orange with white dot scrap strip = SU
3. gray scrap cardstock panel = stash
4. plaid print cardstock strip scrap = Cozy Christmas from Fancy Pants Designs
5. the image is colored with a variety of alcohol markers, colored pencils = stash
6. handwritten messaging with a red watercolor marker = stash
