HQCOLCB #2.5 EWA Theme plus optional theme Valentines Midway Reminders on 15 Feb 2024

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

Purpose: this posting is promote my owner/DT work for my newest challenge blog= Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love

When: #2.5 midway posting was published February 15, 2024; competition #2 started on February 2nd and will end on February 29th. Competition #3 will start on March 2, 2024.

What: HQCOLCB's monthly themes are always Engagements, Weddings, and Anniversaries with the optional celebration theme for February being Valentine's Day

This project #1 is for the optional celebration theme of Valentine's Day=


and a closeup to try to see the gold glitter acrylic paint on the heart and the patterned paper around the laser-cut heart shape


Notes:

1. jumbo dots, laser heart shape= Crafter's Square

2. "loving" foam sticker = Frosted Forest collection by Fancy Pants Design

3. colorful patterned paper = Stampin' Up

4. purple cardstock base cut to 4" x 6" = Art Skills

5. patterned paper is outlined with Lilac Grey alcohol-based marker = Nuvo

Notes:

1. heart-swing fold card base of white cardstock= Hot Off The Press via Paper Wishes website

2. patterned cardstocks are two-sided and are from 2 older sets of Stampin' Up (received in October from a crafting friend) that I've mix-matched

3. amber heart gems, mini aqua/teal gem dots, and glitter foam heart shape stickers = old stash items

4. gold foil "Love" dazzle/sticker = Hot Off The Press via Paper Wishes website

5. ink pad "Artichoke" used for all cardstock cut edges = also Stampin' Up (received from a different crafting friend earlier in 2023)

    1. I appreciate the feedback, Kristin! Thanks for stopping in! If you purchase the heart swing fold cards from Paper Wishes or Hot Off The Press, the multi-pack packaging insert has the patterns on the reverse side for you to cut out and use for your templates! It's still time consuming to coordinate papers and have twice the papers than typical cards but use that packaging page to get precise papers for each section. Best wishes!
