Sweet Dreams and Best Wishes from HQFCB former TFATU #2 Valentine Inspired Fantasy 3 Feb 2024

Purpose: this posting showcases my creative love for fanciful fantasy through Heart's Quest Fantasy's February #2 competition

When: February 3-29, 2024; HQFCB or the former TFATU always starts on the 1st Saturday of each month

Notes:

1. Queen of Hearts cut-apart card and trimmed down mini card "you are magical" = Webster's Pages (old; maybe 2013?)

2. background garden cardstock (altered with "Condensed Milk" alcohol marker), 7 die-cuts, 2 stickers, and enamel dots = Enchanted Garden collection by Fancy Pants Designs

3. 2.25" circle punch= EK Tool

4. three circles from recycled tissue box cardstock

5. punched cardstock circles enhanced with alcohol markers in Poppy Red, Pea Green, and Canary Yellow = Arteza Everblend Art Markers

6. base yellow cardstock is a recycled mailer and the kraft base cardstock is part of a recycled notepad backing/base

3. the key print paper scrap panel and the alpha stickers of "I" and "U" = The Simple Life sticker book from Simple Stories

4. the lime green heart sticker = Main Street Wall Creations (from a set of wall stickers of hearts, rainbows and clouds)

5. pink glitter foam heart sticker, colored pencils for the Cupid clipart = stash

    Busy but pretty... combination of patterned papers and color are always fun choices. Love the adorable Cupid. Thanks for sharing your Valentine card with us at Double Trouble. You were pretty close to the color dare.

      Thanks! I wanted the Queen of Hearts to look a bit like she was hiding in a secret garden, so yes, it's a mixed media collage with lots of layers, colors, and prints! And Cupid's card is a bit print-rich too but that's what I like. :)
