Loving this HQCB #52 DT projects for 14 April 2024

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

purpose: this posting showcases another owner/design team project for Heart's Quest Challenge blog! In 2024, we're offering a new theme structure with an image badge listing 4 choices in Part A and another 4 in Part B which participants selecting at least 1 from each side to make their own themed combo!! 

when: #52 starts April 14, 2024 and ends on April 27, 2024

what: PROJECT #1= a study in pink and forever love card


notes: Part A choices: pink ombre effects and XOXO
Part B choices: pink heart doily and 'forever love' 

1. base is recycled packaging cardstock

2. the 2 butterflies and large floral die-cuts were only black and white = The Simple Life ephemera from Simple Stories

3. three different tones of colored pencils used

4. cocoa brown ink pad = Memento

5. stickers, doily, pink pearls = DT

6. blush pink and pink cardstock scrap/panels = Neenah


and

PROJECT #2 = It's raining hearts mini slimline card


notes: Part A choices = rainbow, pink ombre effect, and XOXO

Part B choices = stamped hearts

1. kraft cardstock = Colorbok

2. the ombre cardstock panel is cut from a sheet with additional colors from Bella Blvd

3. rainbow, cloud, and sentiment stamps = Paper Sweeties

4. all heart stamps = Raisin Boat

5. pinks and red ink pads are Sweet Sugarplum, Berry Burst and Rose Red = Stampin' Up

6. black ink pad = Hero Arts

7. white Gelly Roll pen = Sakura

    Your definitely in pink mode here Becca, so Springlike and p-retty. The first puts me in mind of a packet of seeds (flowers of course) ready to be scattered to bring yet more blooms. May thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge this week.

    I wish it were raining hearts here! We have had so much rain, the horses are swimming in the pastures! We could use some of the rainbows and hearts in your lovely card! Great colors, style and use of a slim line card base! So happy you shared at Path of Positivity. ~Katrina

      Katrina, thanks for stopping by for the 2nd card! Sometimes my ideas get a bit crazy but bringing out several stamp sets that hadn't been used for awhile along with some doodling was messy fun!
