Loving this HQCOLCB #4 Themes of EWA and Optional Birthday or New Baby Birth starts 2 April 2024

purpose: this posting focuses on the main themes and optional theme for #4 at Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love challenge blog. Main themes are always engagements, weddings, and anniversaries. April's optional event themes are Birthday(s)/New Baby Birth...actual birth day. 

when: #4 competition starts April 2 and ends on April 30, 2024; 

what: Project #1= Live A Good Love Story card (could be wedding or anniversary)

notes:

1. base is ivory cardstock panel = Neenah; pink, orange, and red-orange watercolor markers were partially diluted and then iridescent glitter paint applied on top for the perimeter

2. pink with beige dots cardstock panel= very old My Mind's Eye/29th Market...

3. cut-a-part journal card = I think it's old Webster Pages; ALTERED = outlined in the red-orange, 'live' filled in with orange, 'story' filled in with red-orange, and 'love' added with black marker

4. puffy hearts and dots=  Freckled Fawn

Project #2: stenciled birthday cake card (for the optional event theme)

notes: look closely at the lettering and the cake portions (yellow/lime green)

A. a variety of alcohol markers  for coloring = Arteza

B. green, neon/yellow-green, and a blue glitter paint markers = Crafter's Square

C. stencils = Crafter's Square

D. dotted cardstock scrap = Summer Lovin' paper pad from Simple Stories 

E. teal and pink cardstocks = Art Skills

F. navy blue pearl gems = stash
