purpose: this posting features the newest farm country living theme competition for FarmQuest Challenge Blog

when: #53 theme of picnic things begins May 28 and ends June 13, 2024

what: An Autumn Picnic near the Barn card



notes: some scissor blade distressing to the edges as well as brown, red, and rust ink to give the card a weather/time-worn farm look

1. Sande Woodson = digital ephemera (bike) and barn scene 

2. The ClipArt Library website = the tin mugs on checked blanket clipart and the picnic basket clipart

3. yellow cardstock and mid-blue cardstock = Art Skills

4. navy blue, orange, faded red, and green papers = stash

5. orange paper circles = Astrobrights/Neenah

6. walnut ink pad and lobster ink pad = Lawn Fawn

7. lilac grey alcohol marker = Nuvo (used to reduce the white parts (lettering stickers, the clipart/digital images, and even the barn was toned down)

8. lettering stickers = Crafter's Square

*contents of this showcased card were made specifically for FQCB #53; however it would also qualify for FQHSKCB #5 or 6 (time overlap for different start and end dates) with its anything food goes theme and there are elements on the picnic card that qualify for the new FQGGCB limited time period complement that uses up to 10 aisles of 'grocery store' content for the 16-17 days of open competition(s). FQGGCB starts May 28-June 13

  1. The idea of a picnic is very appealing, so long since I had one, long gone are the days when we used to take one across the fields at harvest time for a couple of weeks, many thanks for sharing with us at Allsorts challenge.
