Featuring my FQCCCB #12.5 Reminder DT Country Christmas card on 21 Sept 2024

purpose: This posting focuses on my reminder post inspiration sample for FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge Blog (FQCCCB). I've recently spent some time cleaning out a small cabinet at my mom's stuffed with recycled gift bags, Christmas gift tag label stickers, Christmas card partial packages, saved gift bows plus office supplies! I couldn't help myself but brought several boxed cards with snowy scenes to my home for me to use for FQCCCB projects. This cute snowman is my first of these to upcycle. 

when: #12. 5 is the midway reminder post for #12 competition that started September 7 and will end on October 5, 2024.

what: Christmas-Ready Snowman card



notes: sorry about goofy scanned photo; I shifted the lid while it was scanning and didn't rescan

1. kraft cardstock panel is about 5.5" high x 4.5" wide = Pen + Gear

2. red-white-green stripe strip is scrap = The Paper Studio

3. green and white paper strip scrap = SU

4. snowman focal panel is recycled/upcycled boxed card (my mom didn't have it in its original packaging so I don't know the vendor); trimmed down about 1/4" per side

5. green glitter cardstock scrap punched folk-art shape heart = Pen + Gear?

6. heart punch = Emaginations

7. red pearl gem = Crafter's Square

8. black ink pad for perimeter edging = Hero Arts

9. black dual-tip marker for outlining the snowman focal = Art Skills

10. red and white checked gingham ribbon (was wired but cut off and then fabric strip cut into tiny 'shreds') = purchased at Dollar General store

    There's a very similar drawer in my eldest Daughters house! Such a fun Snowman, but sadly not eligible at Allsorts (please see 2 of our rules page).
