Loving my HQFSCAT #5 May Shaped Card and Shaped Chalkboard Tag Projects on 2 May 2025

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity!

why: In this posting I'm sharing my new #5 design team projects for HQFSCAT or Heart's Quest For Shaped Cards and Tags. The shaped tag base is a chalkboard surface tag! And the shaped card is mimicking a Chinese food take-out container for a get well card!!!

when: #5 starts May 2, 2025 and ends on May 31, 2025

what: PROJECT #1 = Shaped Tag = HUG!

and a cropped closeup scan pic for the gold foil "HUG" =

how-to notes for #1:

1. all supplies for this project came from Crafter's Square!! = yes! different packages; chalkboard tag was 1 of 6 piece pack; pop-up dimensional flower stickers had 14 piece pack; butterflies came in a 4 color multipack; the gold-foil "HUG" is a rub-on transfer from a sheet with mixed expressions

where for #1 link-ups:

A. tag = Cupcake Inspirations; 1 day left to challenge; theme is friendship/see image badge; My tag says 'hug'; several friends are experiencing serious health issues so I will send this to one of them for encouragement

C. Tag Along (and ATCs); current/new on May 1; anything goes on a tag or ATC; this project is a decorated chalkboard tag

----------------------------------------------------

what: PROJECT #2 = Get Well take-out container-shaped card!

how-to notes for #2: this does fold/scored on that 'divider' vertical line!!!

21. I took a security print paper full sheet that came in a health insurance envelope and placed it on the printer/scanner and printed it on white cardstock! = upcycled; then traced the pattern onto the print; cut it out; did the lines, stenciling, etc.

22. stencil for lower case letters = very old Tupperware; probably close to 35-40+ years old!!!!!!!!

23. black ink pen for bottom layer of lines and shapes for the take-out container and sentiment messages

24. red permanent dual-tip marker; used fine tip end = Art Skills

25. ruler = stash; for the straight lines

26. take-out container pattern was traced/embossed from a coloring page image = digital download printed for my large pattern, free for personal use = Super Coloring (Kids) website

where for #2 link-ups:

D. CD Sunday Plus; started Apr 27, current; must use CD, USB, digital; the take-out container 'design' was traced from a digital download

link to the online page = https://www.supercoloring.com/coloring-pages/takeout-box-emoji-0

E. Stencil Fun = Crazy is our...; still open for a few days; theme of AG stencil with option of patterns; this is another lowercase lettering stenciled wording; this might be 1st or 2nd link-up on May 2nd

F. CAS on Friday; new Fri May 2; theme is black and white + one color; I'm using red for my 1 color; see the take-out container shaped card get well
