Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!
why: this posting showcases my latest owner/design team inspiration projects for HQCOLCB or Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love challenge blog! #7 for BEWAS themes (birthdays, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and/or sympathies) and the July optional event theme of "Christmas in July".
when: HQCOLCB #7 starts July 3 and ends on July 31, 2025; this blog used to start on the 2nd but is starting its second challenge with the new start date
NOTE: my linkups are not being made until after 2:50pm CT/Chicago on July 3rd.
what: Project #1 = BEWAS main themes of Birthday; quick and easy
how-to & vendor notes for #1 = NOTE: the graphic lines I made are straight...the pop-up/dimensional bees and flowers distorted scanning on the printer glass plate...jeepers! Believe me, in person, it's a striking and vivid card!
1. lime green cardstock trimmed to 4 x 6; Recollections
2. yellow cardstock punched circle = I think it is Pen + Gear
3. bees and yellow posies dimensional stickers = Little Birdie Handmade Embellishments; made by women in India
4. "HB" stamp = my old faithful 2001 SU product
5. "Hello Love" = puffy sticker = Thickers by American Crafts
6. black dual-tip marker = Art Skills
7. black stamp pad = Hero Arts (for perimeter of base)
where #1 will be linked =
1A. Ellibelle's Garden Party #4; open for June and July combined; anything in or from the garden; MY birthday card has flowers and bees; this is my 3rd entry

1B. Word Power; new on July 3rd; theme is same as title; on MY birthday card, I chose 2 sentiments; both are sizable; the 'hello love''s scallop shape reminded me of a flower and thought the color went well with the bees so I added it.
