HQFSCAT #10 anything goes on shaped cards or shaped tags DT projects

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity!

why: This year is disappearing and it's already #10 for the newish HQFSCAT or Heart's Quest for Shaped Cards and Tags!!! YES! This is dedicated to shaped cards and shaped tags with the only exception being a standard/regular rectangle shape that has 4 straight 90* corners. Altered variations on rectangles are accepted like rounded corners, scallop-topped, dog-ear topped, a z-fold, dimensional card, etc. My inspiration this month is on the time of year for us, autumn season! We're starting the month with some high 80-90*F temps but the nights are cooling down into the 50s so that's been nice. 

Autumn season projects are what I decided to create: a mushroom and harvest colors rounded corner shaped tag plus a circular pumpkin/stem shaped blessings card.

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. Fancy Pants Designs' Everly Lane enamel dots = bright lemon yellow ones

2. Freckled Fawn enamel dots = dark brown, muted green and muted yellow

3. American Crafts "Fallish" Thickers = the sentiment and mushrooms trio (both were inked edge in dark brown on the white foam areas)

4. American Crafts' Farmstead Harvest collection: floral topped/dog-ear with 1 mushroom tag, washi/decorative tape

5. Zebra Clickart = dark brown retractable marker for outlining

6. Neenah's Astrobrights Neon = orange cardstock for base (printer's scanner light faded the neon orange to a light peach tone!!!!)

7. Crafter's Square = yellow and white checked gingham

what: Project #2: Pumpkin blessings card for Thanksgiving

how-to & vendor notes for #2:

21. Pen + Gear = pumpkin/squash color cardstock for the base (I used a dessert plate for the circle portion and then a scrap rectangle cut cardstock at an angle to get the size and slant for a pumpkin stem)

22. Fancy Pants Designs' Memory Lane = cardstock for the segmented pumpkin (I sketched the layout trying to be a bit asymmetrical. I used the dark brown marker pen for outlining.)

23. Zebra Clickart= dark brown marker pen for outlining details and perimeters for the 2 shapes

24. American Crafts' Farmstead Harvest = ephemera pack for the sentiment banner and the text box [NEW for me= these are the first two items to be used from pack received on 9.29.2025]; puffy sticker set for the 3 little dark red flowers and the tiny mushroom

25. Crafter's Square = the three brass looking flower puffy stickers
