Heart's Quest Challenge Blog #80 AWAHG theme + opt of red heart and/or green heart DT project

Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity!

why: This posting showcases my new design team/owner inspiration project for HQCB or Heart's Quest Challenge Blog. This past month we tried a broader main theme of 'anything with a heart goes' and the optional theme is 1 or 2 colors of hearts to include. November 28/#80 the option is red and/or green heart(s). For project #1, I took an outline heart stamp repeated into a pine tree/Christmas tree shape. The hearts were filled with different green tones. Small hand-drawn circles to act as ornaments or lights were filled with red. And to add even more hearts, I used more green than red heart-shaped gems.

For my AWAHG theme project/#2, I chose to use some old planner labels in pink ombre tones with little white hearts. This was a good project to use lots of scraps &/or old stash items.

when: HQCB #80 starts November 28 and closes December 27, 2025

what: Project #1: Loving the Christmas tree card

2C. As You Like It; new on Nov 27; theme ? : gold, silver, or glitter & why?; on my pink holiday card I wanted the ornament focal to have lots of bright pink glitter shine and then I decided to adhere the 3 pink crystal gems with more bright pink glitter glue...there is also silver glitter dots print specialty paper; even up in card 1 there is a little bit of glitter on the little red ornaments/lights circles ===> especially for holiday cards, glitter just adds sparkle and shine to make a card/tag extra special...messy, too, but special
