My FarmQuest Challenge #79 DT projects for Snowy Mountains theme on 28 Dec 2025

why: This posting's purpose is to spotlight new design team/owner inspiration projects for FarmQuest Challenge Blog. FQCB's #79 theme is Snowy Mountains. On cards #1 & #2, I've used some new to me products from Snow Pine Lodge collection 2024 by Simple Stories. Images show the ski runs on the mountains as well as a tiny ephemera with jagged mountain tops. And then I've varied their looks with other ephemera and/or stickers and/or other patterned papers. 

when: FQCB #79 starts December 28, 2025 and will end on January 27, 2026. 

what: Project #1: Welcome to Snowy Mountains Ski Runs card

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. from Snow Pines Lodge collection 2024 by Simple Stories = plaid paper, welcome, ski run mountains, MC & HNY, red and pink plaid CS and 2 snowy tree stickers 

2. white chalk writer = Crafter's Square (added to the green tone tops of the mountain peaks on the center focal and also the welcome ephemera; also across the top and sides of the pink CS strip)

3. yellow CS and pink CS = from different packs = Crafter's Square

4. black extra fine tip marker = Sharpie

21. from Snow Pines Lodge 2024 collection by Simple Stories = red and pink plaid CS, diff skis CS, two little snowflake stickers, the green memo sticker, the LGTTM ephemera and map of ski runs journal card

22. white chalk writer = Crafter's Square (used on the pink border around the ski runs mountains as well as on many of the green tones on the mountains

23. pink CS scrap strip = Astrobrights/Neenah

24. black extra fine tip marker = Sharpie

25. white CS scrap torn edges to look like a snow pile = Georgia Pacific

26. yellow CS cut panel = Crafter's Square

2C. Love Those Pretty Papers; opened Dec 6 & closes in 3 days; theme to use at least 1 pretty design paper; My snowy mountain card #2 has the pretty red & pink plaid plus the colorful ski print papers that are on each side of the ski run mountain map journal card
