My FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge #27 AGCC theme DT projects

why: This posting features new design team inspiration projects for FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenge Blog! The theme is always 'anything goes country Christmas'. By 'country' the theme means what is rural, outdoors, remote, exterior, weather/wintry, nature. No inside a home or building views or city scenes.  

when: #27 starts on December 7, 2025 and ends on January 5, 2026!!! 

what: Project #1: "Home is where the love is!" card

how-to & vendor notes for #1:

1. AGCC theme elements: chickadee, holly, pine, stars, and front view of a home

2. black star, black mini dots, ivory mini dots, and light gray medium dot = enamels from mixed neutral set /pack = Freckled Fawn

3. red and green star stickers from a mixed size and color star stickers pack = maybe Hallmark?; have had in my stash for lots of years

4. white chalk writer marker = Crafter's Square

5. black fine tip marker pen = Sharpie

6. chickadee with sentiment is a MAGNET = I discovered this unopened package while going through stuff at my mom's house. So last year the pack came to my house. This is the 2nd magnet I've used. 

7. glue dots are used behind the magnet so the card receiver can remove it if they wish to do so

8. red CS scrap = Crafter's Square

9. white glitter CS and black glitter CS panels = cut from full 12" square sheets from a mix color pack = Crafter's Square (4 sheets: white, gold, silver & black)

10. puffy front view house sticker = from puffy sticker set Farmstead Harvest collection  by American Crafts

1D. Alphabet Challenge; started Nov 28/week 2 of 2; theme letter is Q for Quote; the magnet focal on my 1st project says 'Home is where the Love is" quote; sometimes folks replace 'love' with 'heart'...either way it's a popular quote

21. from Crafter's Square

a. silver glitter CS (1 of 4 glitter color CS pack)

b. red CS (1 of 4 solid color CS pack)

c. snowman tag (1 of 5 designs with 25 total in pack)

d. red crystal gems (part of pack)

e. faux wax seal puffy sticker (1 of 3 embossed designs in pack)

f. red with gold metallic thread fabric ribbon (cut from spool)

g. white chalk writer (used to create a snowy look on the red CS margin

22. from Lawn Fawn = Narwhal/gray mini stamp pad; paper toweling strip was wadded and then used to dab ink on the margin of the red CS before the white chalk marker was used.

23. black fine point marker = Sharpie (used to highlight the embossed 'LOVE' in that faux wax seal; I used some paper towel to distress some off while ink was drying and then I used a scissor blade to scrape a bit more off)
