why: this post highlights the newest owner/design team member inspiration food theme samples for FQGGCB or FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges Blog. The theme is anything food goes. The first project shows a pizza slice and the second creation has strawberry plant.
when: #27 starts on February 27, 2026 and ends on March 26, 2026
what: Project #1: "Want a piece of me?" Ha-Ha!!!
how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. the yellow tone print CS is part of a tropical scene image 12" square sheet = old 2009 My Mind's Eye
2. the yellow, gray & white plaid paper = Recollections; read note #3 to see how I changed it
3. dark brown, olive green and red markers were alternated in lines both directions to bring in colors from the pizza slice = stash box for markers
4. pizza slice is an iron-on applique = part of a two pack/designs (the other was a taco that used for Jan 28th FQGGCB project) = Crafter's Square
5. red pearls and green crystal gems = different packs = Crafter's Square
6. "HB" stamp = SU
7. 'celebrate' and 'special day' and banner = same birthday set of clear stamps = Bo Bunny
8. black ink pad = Hero Arts

Double Trouble; open for 2+ days yet; using the Twister Sister "include a snack food" ; My first project on this post has a pizza slice...one of my favorite snacks...even for meals especially on a weekend; (2nd project strawberries are also another fave snack...love to grab a few as I'm walking out the door to give our little doggy his pee-pee breaks!)

ReplyDeleteBoth cards are so so fun, such great designs! So great to see you at my Garden Party! Strawberries would be an amazing treat to get from the garden, sadly when I tried before, the squirrels got to them before I did LOL.
