why: The purpose of this posting is to showcase new owner/design team projects for FarmQuest Home Challenges Blog or FQHCB. This challenge blog started in Fall 2025 after discontinuing one about kitchen and dining. The idea to broaden for whole house, inside or out, seemed like a better way to go. For interior housing topics, I'm featuring a row of books on a masculine birthday card and another showing 'saved' peacock feathers, old typewriter and old telephone. I decided not to do an exterior housing project this month.

what: Project #1: interior housing = displayed peacock feathers, old typewriter and old telephone
how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. white CS panel for base = Georgia Pacific
2. bright blue CS = Astrobrights/Neenah
3. purple + aqua + white plaid paper = Recollections
4. dark purple marker = stash box for faux stitching borders and outlining
5. different color heart puffy markers from same set = Hello Hobby/Walmart
6. rainbow stickers = Hello Hobby/Walmart
7. ephemera: peacock feathers, typewrite and telephone = Unique by Fancy Pants Designs; I penciled 'you're just my type' onto the typewriter's paper!!! I love puns and thought this would be really cute

how-to & vendor notes for #2:
21. harvest yellow CS scrap = Pen + Gear (old mixed color pack)
22. blue CS scrap = Art Skills
23. blue with gold glitter textured paper scrap = from an old scrap pack = Crafter's Square
24. puffy book stickers = half of the package/set = Crafter's Square
25. border strip stickers = very old Current Catalog item (from same sheet of mixed gray and brown geometric prints)
26. "HB" and the three tiny shapes (oval, square, star) clear stamps = part of a birthday celebrations stamp set = Crafter's Square
27. black stamp pad = Hero Arts (used for the stamps and to ink the outside edges of the card)
28. black fine tip marker = Sharpie (for doodled dots)
29. base is white A2 card panel = also Crafter's Square
