Loving HQCB Reminder bookmarks for Theme #21

 Heartfelt Greetings! 

This personal blog post today highlights 2 bookmarks I've created as DT inspiration for Heart's Quest Challenge Blog's theme #21 midway reminder post. 

#21 started on December 28, 2022 and ends at 12:30am CT/Chicago on January 13, 2023. 

Theme #21 requires 2 parts:

a. use of heart/love (at least 1 heart shape or the word 'heart' or the word 'love')

AND

b. New Year's Day or Birthday occasion (have at least 1 image or sentiment that is relatable)

That's it. Everything else on your project is up to your creativity and skills.

What's great about HQCB is that I allow different formats of paper-crafting to be accepted!!

Bookmark #1 = HNY/Happy New Year

['love' was stamped and then center outlined in brown marker + HNY/Happy New Year]

Spider mum stamp from Hero Arts (Mum Stem stamp set)

alpha tile stickers from Freckled Fawn

other supplies from stash including red and gold metallic ink stamp pads; the kraft cardstock base is from recycled packaging (the holder liner tray for fun size candy bars)--Yes!

AND

Bookmark #2 = HB2U (Happy Birthday 2/to U/you)

[red glitter heart stickers + HB2U/happy birthday]

kraft cardstock base for this bookmark is also recycled fun size candy bar tray packaging insert

stickers, cording, gold tempera paint used to accent the animals' hats and scarves are from my stash

the forest friends paper is upcycled/recycled wrapping paper!!! from Brother <3 Sister Designs (Hobby Lobby)

Both were fairly quick to make. More time fussing over how the cording was tied for each and then waiting for the gold glitter tempera paint to dry on the glossy gift wrapping panel before I could scan.
