1. light pink top-folded card base had the gold metallic foil stars; inside was blank (old item from Studio Calico that I've been hoarding); the light pink 'badge' with white heart sticker is also SC

2. gems and dots, pink foil heart die-cut, and lettering stickers for 'wish' are old stash items

3. small round # stickers = Freckled Fawn (came with a set of 0-31 and luckily the colors for '20' and '24' were perfect for SC card base

4. HQCB #45 New Year theme elements are: 'wish', gold stars, '2024' and for heart/love, there are 2 amber heart-shaped gems on the front and the pink foil heart shape die-cut on the inside plus the white heart on the badge sticker

Wintery Wonderland Charm at FQCCCB #3.5 midway reminder 21 Dec 2023

 Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!

Purpose: this posting showcases my owner/DT contributions for extra inspiration at midway competition time for FarmQuest Country Christmas (anything goes country Christmas)

When: #3.5 reminder posting publishes on December 21, 2023; #3 started December 7, 2023 and will end on January 5, 2024

Notes:

1. buffalo plaid cardstock = The Paper Studio

2. cardstock enhanced with colors/inks= from Arteza and Nuvo

3. tree was fussy cut from old gift wrap; it was outlined with a silver metallic paint pen from Crafter's Closet

4. white snow dots and a bit of snowy ground on each side of the deer = white paint pen from Crafter's Closet

5. foam sticker 'winter' and the star and the deer sticker= from Frosted Forest by ; (the foam stickers were enhanced with marker colors and white paint pen to unify the color palette)

Purpose: this posting is for my growing love and fascination for fantasy creatures/characters derived from literature whether the Bible's angels or fairy tales gnomes, trolls, elves and fairies! I took over the ownership of TFATU (The Fairy and The Unicorn) on 11/11/22. I'm going to rename it and add it as a sister challenge blog to Heart's Quest effective in Jan 2024. The new name will be Heart's Quest Fantasy Challenge Blog or HQFCB.

Loving this HQCB #44 Poinsettia Day theme option DT owner card for 14 Dec 2023

Purpose: this posting showcases Heart's Quest Challenge Blog which during 2023 pairs a special day/season/or holiday occasion with heart and/or love for themes

What: Jolly Poinsettia Christmas card

above: front panel; poinsettia die-cut and a red glitter foam heart sticker; die-cuts had a "Goldfish Orange" marker applied over them to reduce the amount of white; center panel was only gray with little white flowers with me very carefully coloring about 60% of theme; left and right panels are the same cardstock however only the skinny left strip's dots were colored with 3 basic colors

1. jolly tag, poinsettia, holly leaves die-cuts = Make It Merry ephemera from Simple Stories (also the inside panel label die-cut)

2. itsy bitsy bee die-cuts = Simple Life ephemera from Simple Stories
