purpose: this posting showcases my owner/DT commitment to Heart's Quest Fantasy challenge blog that I took control of about 15 months ago. It was known as The Fairy and The Unicorn. It accepts more than fairies and unicorns, so I felt a broad title terminology was needed plus getting it within the 'heart's quest' family of blogs.

when: first Saturday of the month, May 4, 2024 is the launch date for #5 in 2024 for HQFCB (TFATU)

what: Project #1= Unicorn(s) are the May 2024 fantasy focus option

notes: somewhere in a far off land, there might be swans, rabbits, birds, and unicorns all enjoying their local exotic flora

1. gray cardstock base 6" square; orange cardstock panel 5"x 5.5" = Art Skills/ Crafter's Closet

2. rub-on transfers (all images) are about 60% of a sheet = D.T. /Crafter's Square

3. rust colored wood strip = Maker Forte

4. grey and white checked gingham paper strip = Hot Off The Press

5. small sentiment cut-a-part card = ? I think it's an old Webster's Pages

6. black ink for edging = Hero Arts

7. clear gems= stash

PROJECT #2: my anything goes fantasy choice is = dragon

notes: design choices -- metal plating was selected to repeat the supposed metal helmet and sword of the knight's in the image; the hilly scene was picked to be the location where these 2 faithful companions do their roaming; star print paper and wood stars were my ideas to go with the metal and also vaguely suggest a 'badge' that this little knight would want to pin to his uniform

11. gold glitter pen applied to the larger star and silver glitter pen on the tiny star

13. metal plating print paper strip is 1" deep x 6.25" wide = Hot Off The Press

14. ivory panel and Kelly green base cardstock = Neenah

15. hilly scene print cardstock is recycled/upcycled tissue box panel

16. star print paper strip = Lake Life paper pad by Fancy Pants Designs

17. "Emerald Envy" classic ink pad = Stampin' Up
