purpose: this posting focuses on my continuing commitment as DT/owner for FarmQuest Country Christmas challenge blog; Anything Goes Country Christmas (referring to outdoors, rural, winter landscapes, nature, weather elements, exterior holiday decorations, etc.)

when: #8.5 is the reminder midway posting on May 21, 2024 with the competition running from May 7 to June 5

what: Project #1 = a pines theme mini slimline Christmas card

"All is Calm"

notes:

1. cream cardstock base panel = Neenah

2. tan cardstock base panel = Art Skills/Crafter's Closet

3. cardinals and pine branches with pinecones print cardstock panel plus sticker assortment = Simple Stories' Simple Vintage Christmas Woods collection

4. "Condensed Milk" alcohol marker = Arteza (used to cover the white edging on most of the stickers to help them blend in more to the cardstock print

what: Project #2: Happy Holidays, deer/dear! mini slimline with vertical layout

notes:

Z. Colorbok = kraft cardstock

Y.  Bella Blvd = deer print cardstock with some added dots of colors 

X. kitchen pantry stash = waxed paper used as faux vellum

W. deer stamped first on faux vellum and then a top layer of black permanent marker to set the ink; deer stamps were received in an unmarked purchase from Amazon

V. lots of colorful crystal cut gems scattered to repeat some of the colors on the deer print cardstock
