Featuring my FQGGCB #6 Food Alphabet Letters Dd or Ee or Ff starting 14 Sept 2024

purpose: this blog post focuses on the latest design team inspiration samples for FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges blog! This has 2 styles of grocery store competition themes: either assigned Aisle # to use OR alphabet letters for food content. 

when: #6 goes from September 14-27, 2024; #6 is a food alphabet theme focused on letters Dd, Ee, and/or Ff. 

what: PROJECT #1 = letter D is for donuts

notes:

1. stacked donuts image is a freebie for those who are part of Blessed Crafters group in Facebook (thanks Mynn!!!); it was simply printed on white paper but edged with green colored pencil, 

2. Wild Wasabi ink pad (applied with cotton ball) = SU

3. a variety of markers including alcohol markers, pink colored pencil

4. puffy dots, stars, hearts = Freckled Fawn

5. reddish-purple floral lattice print paper = SU

6. bold blue cardstock panel = Neenah

what: PROJECT #2 = letter E is for Egg

notes:

11. egg image and 'hello' are offered as freebies to those belonging to the FB group called 'Blessed Crafters'; thanks go to Mynn!!! <3

12. sage green cardstock = Neenah

13. jumbo dot cardstock = from Palm Springs paper pad by My Mind's Eye

14. the mauvy specialty paper with coppery fibers = stash

15. green dual-tip marker = Art Skills

16. a variety of markers including alcohol markers and a bold pink colored pencil for adding color to the egg and to coordinate with the jumbo dot paper

what: PROJECT #3 = letter F is for Figs

notes:

21. tan cardstock 6" square = Art Skills

22. green leafy with kraft/tan paper = SU

23. Wild Wasabi ink pad applied with a cotton ball to the clipart image and to the white heart-shaped doily = ink pad = SU

24. wood heart disc (colored with a dark green marker) = Crafter's Square (from a pack)

25. figs clip art image printed on white paper = free for personal use = The ClipArt Library website; and then colored with dark green colored pencil for the leaves; a green marker used for the outer peel/skin of the figs; and a combination of alcohol markers for the inside of the 1 open fig

26. black marker outlining = Art Skills

E. egg = Try It On Tuesday; about 4 days left in its 2 week competition; theme is Make It Colorful; my E for Egg card has lots of colors and tones of colors like pinks and greens

F. figs = Cards 4 Galz; new/current; theme is "Hip to be Square"= square base cards and/or cards with square shapes; MY figs card has a square base and background

G. figs = Shopping Our Stash; current; theme is Confession/I don't need another....; (1) MY f is for figs card has a heart shaped paper doily. I've got heart-shaped doilies in white, pink, and red. I also have some small round silver foil ones!!! Transforming a white doily with the "Wild Wasabi" ink was a fun mixed media way to give another green tone for the card and a sweet backdrop for the figs clipart image. (2) Also I have lots of wood/balsa cut-outs in lots of shapes. This heart button-disc is the first used in the new pack!!! And like the doily, I couldn't resist adding color to it. Besides the heart button-discs, I have wood stars, pumpkins, pineapples, palm trees, lemon/orange slices, and a few more stashed away!!!!
