purpose: this posting focuses on 2 owner/DT food samplers for FarmQuest HomeStyle Kitchen Challenges Blog or FQHSKCB #9.5 (anything food-related goes theme).

when: #9.5 is the reminder/midway posting with competition started back on September 2nd and ending on September 30th. 

what: Project #1= watermelon



notes for #1 =

1. pink cardstock 6" square = Art Skills

2. pink watermelon paper trimmed plus the gold mirror/green/pink panel cut from the middle of the sheet = both are from the Palm Springs paper pad by Maggie Holmes

3. balsa wood watermelon slice was bare; red glitter paint pen plus a green one were applied with a black fine tip pen for the seeds = Crafter's Square

4. old "HB" stamp = SU

5. black ink pad = Hero Arts


what: Project #2 = treat box embellished









notes for #2 = embellishments added to alter the treat box

11. Halloween 'casket' shaped trick or treat box was part of 2 design pack = Crafter's Square

12. black foam rose (part of a 3 color package); bought either 1 or 2 years ago = Crafter's Square

13. black diamond-cut glitter decorative tape = ?/old stash item

14. orange and white checked gingham ribbon = Crafter's Square

**Do you know about the sister complementary challenge blog called FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges? The current food store game theme that started September 14th is based on these 3 alphabet letters: Dd, Ee, and/or Ff. I've got a sample for each letter. I chose donuts for Dd, then egg for Ee and finally figs for Ff. What could you do? FQGGCB is what you're looking for. e. #2/embellished treat box = Two Old Bats Halloween; started Sept 2nd; Halloween theme; treat box has Halloween colors and focal as well as being casket-shaped; I embellished with ribbon, decorative tape and a black foam rose.
