My featured FQGS #20 for AFCG theme using QKRS digi on 7 Sept 2024

purpose: This post focuses on my latest owner/DT contribution for FQGS or FarmQuest General Store Challenges blog. Each offset month-long competition is based on AFCG theme or 'anything farm and/or country goes' topics. The DT members are using QKR Stampede or QKRS digital images to spotlight each month. The three that we use that month will then be given to 1 random-picked participant.

notes:

1. yellow squash cardstock base is actually bright neon orange; started as 6" square and trimmed to 5" deep x 6" wide = Art Skills

2. black cardstock panel is about 4" x 5" = Neenah

3. QKR Stampede image printed on white paper as black and white; colored pencils used for adding color

4. sentiment messages added with black small tip roller pen = Art Skills

5. scrap strip of brown/bronze waffle textured specialty paper = stash

6. dimensional foam tape under the black cardstock panel = Amazon buy

11. focus panel (from a Google Doc I created) was already colored and highlighted; just needed the little calendar cut-out, black outlining after being mounted to red cardstock

12. base paper  = SU

13. on focus panel: stars made with black super fine tip pen and 4 colors of dots using highlighters; then a reddish-brown colored pencil diagonally applied on top 

14. red cardstock panel scrap = Pen + Gear

d. AFCG card with bug and black cat = As You Like It challenge; started Sept 5th; theme is to layer or not and why?; MY Project #2 card has 3 layers plus I added the foam dimensional tape to give the illusion of more layers/depth! :) I'm like several of the DT members who think a flat card is missing something

Loving my HQCOLCB #9.5 Reminder Projects on 15 Sept 2024

  Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country! purpose : this blog posting showcases my reminder projects for Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Challenges blog (HQCOLCB). This time I will have a birthday card and a sympathy card for the main themes, the BEWAS.
