~~ my most unusual Christmas memories are from our family mission trip to Haiti when I was 15 1/2 years old!!! Growing up in east central Illinois/west central Indiana area, the weather difference alone was a shock. The cultural and lifestyle differences back in 1977 were very shocking! Swimming in the Caribbean on Christmas Eve with 80* F temps! Experiencing sea urchins for the first time! Sitting on crudely made wood benches for 2 hour church services. Hearing voodoo drums on the night of Christmas eve to Christmas Day morning was very eerie.
So very pretty Becca! Thanks so much for joining in the fun at our Peace on Earth challenge! Good Luck and we hope you’ll come back often.
