post's purpose...the why: A month ago (already!!!!) I thought a doable project for me to do weekly (or maybe almost ) would be a journaling notebook with single page Piet Mondrian-inspired geometric layouts. When creating the grid, I'm trying to do my best to come up with different sizes of boxes and also different arrangements. #3 was almost a perfect symmetrical layout. This one, #4, has 50%/right side. This has been fun to do!

the how-to notes: sorry for wobbly marker tracing on the lines

1. elastic band closure graph paper journal notebook = made in Indonesia; distributed by Dollar General Stores company; 80 sheets that are 6" x 8"

2. colored pencils (6) used today = a mix of Crayola, Crazy Art and Marvy Uchida in my stash box

3. dual-tip black marker used for the grid lines = Art Skills

4. the labeling was done with a small tip black pen = Art Skills
