Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity!
why: This post shares my #8 journal notebook entry out of the past 10 weeks influenced by the geometric blocks of color vs. white spaces of famous artist Piet Mondrian. This time I have a 2nd influence from discovering that my mom kept our Spirograph set for the past 50 years!!! Awesome! How cool!
when: #8 (it's been 2 weeks since I lasted did a journal page) will be published on Monday May 19, 2025
what: Project #8: MMMJP inspired by artist Piet Mondrian and my childhood Spirograph!

DeleteHow cool indeed that your Mom saved the Spirograph! My grown kids do not appreciate all the things I have saved from their childhood! I love how you incorporated it in your awesome journal page! Now I am off to research the artist which is something I love to do!
ReplyDeleteAppreciate that! Still working on cleaning things out of my mom's house. She was a saver! 60+ adult years of clothing--pajamas, robes, coats, sweaters, skirts, dresses, aprons, etc.!!!
DeleteWhat a great journal page! Love my spirograph; so much fun to play with that toy! Thanks for sharing with us at Path of Positivity. Katrina

ReplyDeleteHmm. Hadn't thought about that. There have been 1 or 2 that would look nice framed, but haven't done that yet. Maybe I'll display in my craft space.

DeleteHi Becca, a fun way to fill a grid book, love all the colours, I never had much luck with the spirograph, I was always messing them up, I probably needed to go much slower... Thank you for joining us at Lil Patch of Crafty Friends... good luck in the prize draw....
