Welcome to Becca's Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog!
why: this posting shares another practice experiment with Spirograph 'doodles' and my geometric & color interpretation inspirations from famous artist Piet Mondrian. I started with pencil Spirograph doodles and then segmenting my designated space into different configurations. Different marker types were used for ink color. I'm not happy with the overall composition. I wanted to have some white and black areas. I chose green for the dividing lines. Then red, lime green/pea green and yellow for the Spirograph doodles. The boxes were filled with other primary or secondary colors.

I appreciate the visit!!! Some of the journal pages have taken longer than others. The more I deviate/complicate the geometric designs, the longer it takes for border/outlining lines and then more areas to color.
DeleteFor me, there's nothing more random than creating with Spirograph because I never read the directions! I just jump in and play! ; ) Great idea and wonderful shapes and colors. Thanks for sharing with us at Path of Positivity. Katrina
ReplyDeleteYES to not following the directions! :) I so appreciate the blog visit, Katrina!!
