why: this posting features my latest owner/DT contributions to FQGGCB or FarmQuest Grocery Game Challenges blog! #20 continues with the theme "anything food goes". My projects show watermelon slice, cabbage, broccoli, maybe kohlrabi in the back row and possibly green bell pepper plant in the front row.
when: #20 starts on July 28, 2025 and stays open until August 27, 2025.
what: Project #1 = Keep Smiling! Eat Watermelon! card
how-to notes for #1 =
1. tiny dotted paper = Lawn Fawn (order freebie/extra-- Thanks!) = NEW
2. faded denim plaid paper for bottom layer of the focal = Lawn Fawn (order freebie/extra-- Thanks x 2!) = NEW
3. cording/twine was looped = Lawn Fawn (another order freebie/extra -- Thanks x 3!!!) = NEW
4. tan/sandy cardstock is recycled packaging!!!
5. white cardstock scrap panel = Georgia Pacific
6. ants, trails, watermelon slice clear stamps = Lawn Fawn (3 stamps out of 5 stamps) = NEW
7. "keep smiling" clear stamp = Lawn Fawn (another freebie/extra in order-- Thanks x 4!!!) = NEW
8. Condensed Milk (light sand ink) and Beach Blue (highlight the 'keep smiling') = Arteza alcohol markers
9. red and green colored pencils = stash
10. clear faceted tear drop accents = package of different sized teardrops by Hampton Arts; I used a black permanent marker to transform these into watermelon seeds!!!!
11. black dual-tip marker = Art Skills
