Welcome to Becca's Heart for Creativity blog!
why: This posting showcases my newest design team inspiration projects for Heart's Quest Challenge Blog or HQCB. For over two years I've tried to keep themes of colored hearts or combos of heart shapes for HQCB but now I'm going to take a chance on really broadening the main theme to 'anything with a heart goes'. Show us your patterned papers, stamp, brads, buttons, washi tape, embossing folders, etc. that have at least 1 heart. In Project #1, I've used this specialty paper with silver metallic background and white with silver glitter hearts scattered around.
The option is anything goes with a brown and/or yellow-gold heart(s) theme. That will be my Project #2. I messed around with brown acrylic paint and gold metallic paint but then decided to just fussy cut some hearts from the gold paint parts and edged them with dark brown ink to get the brown color as part of the heart shapes.
when: #79 theme starts October 28 and ends on November 27, 2025
what: Project #1 = anything with a heart goes theme using a white and silver glitter hearts print specialty paper
how-to + vendor notes for #1 =
1. blue cardstock base = Pen + Gear
2. silver and glitter heart print specialty paper/scrap = Crafter's Square scrap pack
3. verse sentiment = Google Doc
4. blue mini stamp pad = Lawn Fawn
5. clear iridescent gems = Crafter's Square (from a large pack)
6. gray retractable marker pen = Zebra Clickart (outlining on 3 sides of the silver paper and around the sentiment box and single glitter heart (cut from leftover scrap)
where #1 will be shared:
1A. Word Art Wednesdays; still open for 1 more week; theme of anything goes that is positive and family friendly; WAW also shares a Scripture sentiment image; for my 1st project on this posting, I've used a different Bible verse that uses the word 'heart' to go with the silver glitter and white print hearts paper

what: Project #2 = optional #79 theme of Anything Goes with a brown and/or yellow-gold heart(s) = Not so spooky card with cheery mix of colors
how-to + vendor notes for #2 =
21. white card base panel with a peach color crayon applied around the edges to tone it down a bit = from an old Simple Stories card kit
22. brown print paper panel was trimmed on a narrow V on the long sides = from an old Simple Stories card kit
23. 'laugh often' text strip chipboard = also from an old Simple Stories card kit
24. striped washi/decorative tape = ?/unsure of the vendor; I've had for many years; hoarding it because I love the color combo with metallic gold! :)
25. copper glitter glue, gold metallic paint, orange acrylic paint = Crafter's Square products (all three have been in my stash supplies for over a year!)
26. white scraps for focal paint/glue piece and the 2 fussy cut hearts = Georgia Pacific
26. acrylic paints were applied in different size amounts and locations on the white cardstock and then a 2nd piece of cardstock was applied on top to press/smoosh and dab the paint around; and a 3rd piece was used to against the original...which I think this card has the original paint piece!
where #2 will be shared:
