why: The purpose of this posting is to feature two new design team inspiration projects for Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love Challenges blog or HQCOLCB. There are 5 main themes every month coded as "BEWAS" and the March optional event themes will be St. Patrick's Day and Easter. Easter comes early in April, April 5, which would be just 2 days after our April challenge is planned. [BEWAS = birthday, engagements, weddings, anniversaries and/or sympathies]
I decided to do an A is for Anniversary card, option occasion St. Patrick's Day lucky charm card and option occasion Easter bookmark for my Bible.
when: #3 for 2026 starts March 3 through March 31, 2026.
what: Project #1: palm leaf stamping in cross pattern Easter bookmark
how-to & vendor notes for #1:
1. layered winged butterfly sticker = from a pack of multicolor butterflies = Crafter's Square
2. striped fabric ribbon = Crafter's Square
3. yellow butterfly sticker = from Antique Garden sticker book by K & Company
4. rosy with metallic bit specialty paper = part of a scraps pack = Crafter's Square
5. palm leaf (might be a fern) stamp = part of a set of floral/foliage clear rubber stamps = Crafter's Square [NEW Stamp Pack and the FIRST stamp to be used from it!!]
6. orange marker = stash box (ink edging for both white cardstock panels)
7. white cardstock scraps/panels = Georgia Pacific
8. John 14: 6 verse sticker = from a very old set of Bible stickers = not sure/?; maybe Standard Publishing; maybe Current Catalog; ????

21. white cardstock base cut to 4" x 6" = Georgia Pacific
22. red paper cut to 3.5" x 5" = old stash item
23. red floral print paper = Fancy Pants Designs paper pad
24. "Dreams Come True" cut from a collage style 12" square paper = old The Paper Studio
25. the two little arrow style stickers = (the sheet was pulled from the plastic pouch/sleeve and I don't remember exactly who gets the credit; these were from the blue sheet; there was a yellow sheet, etc.)
26. blue crystal gems = from a large pack = Crafter's Square
27. fine point black marker = Sharpie for the outlining
28. blue dual-tip marker used for small and mid-size dots on the floral paper = Art Skills
29. extra fine tip point black marker = Sharpie (for outlining the heart and arrow stickers)
