why: This is my personal post for 1 new shaped creation for Heart's Quest For Shaped Cards and Tags #3 for 2026 (or #15 since we started). HQFSCAT is anything goes on shaped cards and/or shaped tags with the only shape not allowed being a standard rectangle. Variations on rectangles are accepted such as rounded corners, a wider diagonal cut that changes the degrees to something less than 90*; scallop-topped; dog-ear topped; border punch used across the bottom 2 corners; etc.
I only had time to create 1 project this time for HQFSCAT! Thankfully a couple of other team members did 2 projects this time plus we had Guest DTs to help us have lots of inspirational samples. My personal life and husband's have been crazy. I had a head cold last week for 5-6 days but then discovered some weird swelling in my lower right leg on Saturday afternoon. So hubby took me to a small hospital ER only 25 miles from us. Unfortunately, a radiology tech wasn't on call but would be on Sunday, so I had to go back to find out that I have a Baker's cyst on the back of my knee. Luckily it's not a clot but an aggravation until my body absorbs the leaking lubricating fluid from my knee into other parts of my leg/body. Another lucky thing was that the same ER doc was still working Sun morning so that was reassuring that he was familiar with my case. But that took away from my weekend time to craft and be on the computer. Hubby failed his treadmill stress test last Tuesday and has to undergo a heart catherization/angiogram procedure in the morn/Wed/March 4. He is to expect stenting but we don't know what to expect until the cardiology interventionist gets going. He's first on the schedule. This is a different hospital but is the largest in the region and part of the same hospital system. This interventionist took care of Joe 6.5 years ago so he's familiar with Joe's extensive cardiac history. He's a walking miracle!! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers please. Lots of risks for Joe but his regular cardiologist says he needs to do it to get blood flow back into a section of his heart.
