Loving my HQCOLCB #1 for Jan 2025 DT Projects

why: This posting showcases my next inspiration samples for HQCOLCB. Heart's Quest Celebrations of Love challenges blog has main themes dubbed as "BEWAS" and then there is an optional event theme each month. January 2025's option is Valentines.

when: #1 for 2025 is launching on January 2nd and will end on January 31, 2025.

what: PROJECT #1: B is for birthday (B in BEWAS code)

notes for #1:

1. orange/butternut squash cardstock base = old Pen + Gear

2. yellow and white stripe and the yellow/white print panels = "Set Sail" paper pad by Heide Swapp 2022

3. small plaid paper scrap and the very old "HB" wood stamp = SU

4. glossy wood paneling cardstock scrap = Maker's Forte

5. 'time to shine' sticker = from Market Square by Maggie Holmes

6. layered butterfly, blue glitter tape piece = Crafter's Square

7. blue round gems = Art Skills

what: PROJECT #2: Sympathy = Sending Prayers

notes for #2: (round gems are actually lime green; scanning changed to blue; tried 2 times)

21. kraft card base and background layer (altered; cut in half; one half getting deckle-edged scissors with outlining; lifted with foam tape) = Crafter's Square

22. deep orange cardstock panel = old Pen + Gear

23. "Camping Plaid" print paper panel = Recollections

24. red and white tiny floral print paper pieces = SU

25.  mossy green paper (circle behind orange heart), gems, and gold heart gems = stash/old

26. sentiment stamp might be SU; received in an unmarked bag with a mix of other sentiments

27. black outlining = black gel ink pen

31. white cardstock layers (base and deckled-edged layer) = Crafter's Square

32. pink cardstock layer = Recollections (bright colors paper pad)

33. white cardstock scrap under the center decorative tape panel = Neenah

34. red foil striped decorative tape = ?/forgotten; been in my stash for several years

35. acrylic print hearts, gems, glitter foam stickers & silver glitter alpha stickers = Crafter's Square

36. "Berry Burst" stamp pad = SU

37. silver metallic paint marker = Art Skills

Valentines = Mix It Up; new on Jan 1 and open until Feb 15; anything mixed media with option of monochrome; MY Valentines card is monochrome with reds and pinks; mixed media includes: silver metallic paint pen used to outline the center panel; center panel and borders are specialty tape of red foil stripes; 2 sizes of acrylic floral print layered heart stick-ons; red and pink glitter hearts laid on top of each other gems, silver glitter letter stickers; ink on top focal panel edges; also a pink colored pencil outlining for the pink cardstock panel against the white card base; white base also ink-edged
