why: This post features my next commitment for FarmQuest Country Christmas Challenges blog. My love for country rural living has been with me since I was itty bitty. FQCCCB's theme is always 'anything goes country Christmas' which means wintery outdoor scenes of weather, nature, landscapes or exterior holiday decorations.

notes for #1:

1. ivory card base A2 size = Crafter's Square

2. Royal Blue alcohol marker = Arteza

3. amaryllis print paper and cut-apart = Together for Christmas by Pink Paislee

4. teal green and teal blue colored pencils applied to the white areas of both amaryllis prints

with a farming legacy: 

*My parents farmed many times through their marriage (beef cows, corn and millet, soybeans). 

*Both set of grandparents were farmers! Maternal set had chickens, sheep, hogs and dairy cows in addition to corn, soybeans and occasionally oats. Paternal set had chickens, horses, apple trees, corn and soybeans. And lots of greats!!
