My featured FQHSKCB anything food or kitchen goes DT sampler on 2 Jan 2025

why/purpose: I'm featuring my newest food/kitchen themed design team project for FQHSKCB or FarmQuest HomeStyle Kitchen Challenges blog! I've always wanted to FQHSKCB to be food-related but even when seeing thousands of cards, journals and layouts with food, kitchen, picnic, grilling themes, the participation numbers have been low. So in 2025, I'll be using the theme code as Anything Food or Kitchen Goes "AFORKG". And see if the wording change improves the participation numbers.  

when: #1 in 2025 starts January 2 and ends January 31. 

what: Project #1 = candy canes 

notes for #1:

1. red base cardstock = Pen + Gear

2. candy cane print paper = The Paper Studio

3. the text print paper = The Paper Studio

4. wood candy cane laser cut (came plain) = Crafter's Square

5. border/decorative tape = unknown; received in a kindness box

6. 'sweet' chipboard alpha stickers = old/Fancy Pants Designs...?

7. red dual-tip marker = Art Skills
