Welcome to the farm--FarmQuest Challenge Blog's Theme #10 reminder posting inspiration card is this personal blog's focus.  Theme #10 requires at least 1 of these 3 elements: *pond *duck(s) *goose (geese) Participants can do an either/or; and/or; or all 3. Competition ends August 27 at 12:30am Central Time.   This reminder post card has a pond scene and a duck= LUCKY DUCK   White card base, split floral with light blue with white marks cardstock panel, and the duck die-cut are from Simple Stories card kit. There are 2 washi tapes used from Pen + Gear. The black leafy stems are rub-on transfers that were painstakingly and patiently applied--each one was a separate rub-on!!!!! The pink with metallic gold letter tiles are from Freckled Fawn.  A mid-blue stamp pad ink was dabbed/smooshed and smeared/wiped on the light blue with white marks middle section of the panel in order to give it a watery pond surface look.  LINK to the Theme #10 Reminder post published around 12:30am this m

  I HEART YOU!! I love having you visit this posting about Heart's Quest's current Love Theme #6 !  The requirements are to use the word 'love' along with an image of Cupid or an angel (or it can be more than 1).  Competition ends August 27 at 12:30am Central Time/Chicago or 6:30am UK. Inspiration projects for the midway reminder posting were made by yours truly! I've got 2 cards for different occasions for my hubby made with a Cupid stamp from my stamp box.   Welcome!   For Heart's Quest Love theme #6, the theme requires "love" and cupid or an angel.  Before August 27th when this theme ends, I'll be sharing 3 cards each showing a cupid stamp that I have from my stamps box.  Design Team duo Dottie S and Lori S have their projects with angels shown in the HQCB posting from August 14, so make sure to use the link I'll share later in this post.  Heart's Quest Challenge Blog alternates themes of heart shapes (using different colors or combos of colors) and expressing love with different topics of images.  Cupid love or angel love is the theme for Love Theme #6.  The word 'love' can be a verb form of the word, another language equivalent like amore or agape, and can be part of a phrase, sentence/quote, etc.  Acceptable formats of paper-crafting to submit to Heart's Quest are: scrapbook layouts, bookmarks, tags, ATCs, cards, and TN/journal/planner spreads.   Welcome to the Farm! This posting's focus is a pond scene with a goose get well card made for FarmQuest Challenge Blog.  FQCB started in late March 2022 and the themes reflect rural country topics. The last 2 themes had topics of wagon, animal, barn, windmill, or weathervane. The current #10 theme has options of pond or ducks or geese.  The ducks or geese can be 1 or more. And you can do a combination or even show all 3.  This is a get well card that I made= Credits: 1. the acorn print and gold star print cardstocks are reverse sides of each other (Lake Life paper pad) 2. the aqua/teal frame and the silly goose die-cut are from Carta Bella's Farm To Table frames and tags set 3. gray cardstock base, the green and blue scraps for the pond scene, cork 'ribbon', markers, ink, and green crystal gems are stash supplies 4.   Heartfelt Greetings! Today's feature should have been shared in the previous 2 or 3 days as a reminder to compete in Heart's Quest Color Heart #6 . Getting a kindergarten room ready with a 2-week notice is my reason for delay. Allergy flare-up is the 2nd reason! Ugh.  But let me stick to the project. I think it's super cute and sweet for the idea of 2 or more colors of heart shapes shown in a grid format.  The white specialty paper has dried rose petals!!! The dark brown specialty paper has the wonderful torn papery edge! The striped cardstock scraps has been a hoarded favorite and I have one small piece left. The pink tonal floral peonies paper is from The Paper Studio. Gold tempera paint was dotted around the hearts and then at least 1 long swipe was added to each striped heart to give them some glittery shine. Quest for Love and Country Creativity blog is my personal blog focusing on the inspiration and bonus projects made for my 2 challenge blogs FarmQuest and Heart's Quest.  This posting's focus is FarmQuest's Theme #9 Reminder (midway) inspiration project.  Starting at Theme #8, participants can do an 'and/or' for the listed element options. Theme #9 has three= barn or windmill or weathervane.  This reminder posting inspiration project uses a tag from Echo Park that had 2 of the 3 elements: barn and rooster weathervane!  Typically farmers place weathervanes at the topmost point of their barn because it's usually the tallest structure. Windmills will be placed near barns or farmhouses.
