  Heartfelt Greetings ! This 2nd post for tonight is to showcase the inspiration card I made for Heart's Quest Color Heart #8 Theme that was released about 22 hours ago!!! HQCB's new competition period is September 28 to October 13, 2022. Do a scavenger hunt through your arts and crafts stashes then come and create several entries for Heart's Quest!  Acceptable formats are scrapbook layouts, TN/calendar/planner spreads, bookmarks, tags, ATCs, and cards, so artisans you have lots of format options.  Color Heart #8 has a color duo of heart shapes to include--at least 1 brown heart and at least 1 yellow/gold heart. You get to pick the occasion/sentiment, layout, format, etc.  For the main posting revealed earlier today, my card is monochrome with yellow/gold tones and lots of beige and other various browns with a touch of black and smidges of white.   Howdy! FarmQuest is venturing into outdoor country camping topics for Theme #13 ! I gave craft artisans lots of options: tent/camper trailer and/or campfire/firepit ...terrific for autumn season adventures and even for scrapbooking summer season adventures! (Northern Hemisphere! :) Southern hemisphere crafters would be opposite, correct?!!? Use at least 1 of the mentioned topics on your project. Theme #12 requirements are 2-3 options:  *porch furniture (something seen on a porch or deck) OR *quilt(s) OR *combine both porch furniture and a quilt(s) BONUS CARD #2 for design inspiration, I've made a simple riff on a quilt blocks in a 5 patch= scrap cuts of 3 patterned papers that came in the same paper pad; they've been in my stash for at least 3 years; the 2 small sentiment stamps are from Hampton Arts; a small tip black fine line marker was used to add stitch lines...easy peasy!!! And Heartfelt Greetings from FarmQuest and Heart's Quest Challenge Blogs' owner, Becca S!  To save time, I'm going to share both cards I made for the reminder posts released 24 hours ago to feature her on my personal blog about FQCB and HQCB.   A bit of short history, HQCB was envisioned about 1 year ago however I felt like I didn't know enough technically about getting a challenge blog started. That changed in January when I took over the weekly management for 2 challenge blogs' that I've been on the DTs for.  Heart's Quest officially launched its first challenge on February 28th, 2022. And FarmQuest started 1 month later. Living in the USA heartland is part of the reason why I have 1 challenge blog called Heart's Quest. I also love the idea that your heart/soul quests for creativity.  FarmQuest News was an agricultural newspaper published and sold by my father in Missouri for many years in the late 1980s-1990s.   With a happy and excited heart, I'm showcasing 2 cards made for Heart's Quest Challenge Blog! As owner of HQCB, we have a DT member taking a short break so I took my project made for the reminder post and used it instead for the main post on the 14th of September.  Love Theme #7 requires the use of the word 'love' along with at least 1 flower image.  So here's what was shared on HQCB's September 14th post: and here's an extra card made on September 18th for partial design inspiration using foam flowers found at Dollar Tree!!!: Oops!   Howdy! FarmQuest's Theme #12 started September 14th.  I've been so busy with teaching kindergarten this past week and having some other DT commitments, I am just now taking some time on the weekend to get a post ready for the 19th and to also include an extra bonus card for theme #12 made on Sunday afternoon. The gold glitter tempera paint in the windows had to dry for several hours, so I didn't scan it until about midnight of 18th/19th.   Theme #12 has 2 options: porch furniture and/or quilt(s). You've got to have at least 1 of those topic images shown on your submitted entry(entries).  Here's what was showcased on September 14th in the reveal posting for Theme #12= This comfy cozy card has a bench die-cut and a scrap piece of a checkered paper to act as a faux quilt draped onto the bench.  Simple Stories' card kit provided all of the items except that faux quilt kraft and black checkered scrap paper.  and the EXTRA BONUS card made Sunday Sept 18th and scanne

This personal blog posting showcases an extra bonus inspiration project for Heart's Quest's Color Heart #7 Theme with a Photo Prompt.  My criteria to interpret the photo is to have: *5 or more colors (tints or shades of hues are okay, too) *candy hearts styled with a letter, word, or phrase (like the little boxes of candy hearts sold before Valentine's Day) *hearts attached as a banner, string, garland like the photo ______________________ Deadline for Color Heart #7 ends at 12:30am on September 13, 2022. ______________________________________ My extra bonus inspiration project is a Wedding Card for a first cousin's daughter's wedding.
