For: Halloween Crafts All Year Round challenge blog When: March 15-April 15, 2023 What: Notes: 1. magazine photo shows 1 jack-o-lantern, another one next to it with a cut design, 4 pumpkins used to hold flowers, and 3 gourds cut to hold candles/tea lights. I trimmed the photo and then outlined the perimeter along with the 2 side pieces to make strong contrast definition to the kraft cardstock base 2. wood die-cut shapes (Art Skills) had Memento inks (LadyBug Red and Dandelion Yellow) applied first 3. black permanent marker to add a short word to each shape 4. Heart's Quest Challenge Blog Theme #27= Mother's Day occasion with heart/love ---------------------------- Different countries celebrate Mother's Day at different times so we want every crafter worldwide to get involved in joining us for celebrate women in your life that have the role of mom, grandma, memaw, mimi, nana, momma, etc.  Heart's Quest #27 has 2 parts of its theme for requirements: *Mother's Day occasion (have at least 1 image or a sentiment that alludes to the role of motherhood...) AND *have at least 1 usage of heart shape OR the word "heart" or the word "love; you can have more than 1, of course; and for the words, it can be a form or language equivalent such as lovely, heartwarming, heartfelt, beloved, etc. March 28-April 13, 2023 with start and end times at 12:30am CST/Chicago. -------

  Hello! On my quest for love and country creativity blog, today's posting shares my love for mixed media and junk journaling.  There's not a lot of junkiness to this mini journal but I do plan to add more embellishments as I come across in my stash boxes. I also need to look through more of my scraps and see if I've got the size used already for upcoming weeks' verses. Thanks to FB groups CCMWF (Christian Card Makers ~ Women's Fellowship) and JJGP (Junk Journaling Gals and Pals - Beginner's Welcome) for current events to try a different size and way to document Scripture writing. I've done TNs and index card kind of bullet journaling. I've made a delivery at FarmQuest General Store challenge blog for its 2nd challenge's reminder post. Theme is always AFCG= anything farm country goes.   Happy heartfelt Monday greetings!  It's March 20, 2023 and that means it's midway through the #26 theme challenge at Heart's Quest. Theme #26 requires two parts: Easter occasion/sentiment AND heart/love. For this additional inspiration project for the reminder post, I've made a religious Easter card with 2 heart shapes.  The Good News Easter Greeting Card: [theme #26 required elements: for EASTER= cross symbol, "Good News", "John 14:1-6", and the circular shape to symbolize the tomb opening; for HEART/LOVE= 2 heart shape stickers] I used most of the pieces of a card from the Jan-April Close To My Heart card kit that I was gifted from a lovely crafter friend. Those pieces are the printed background/base left-folded card, the 2 butterfly die-cuts, the little light pink tab, and the white with black edged frame die-cut.  The cross, circular green/faux rolled stone, grid arrow, 2 hearts, and the little pink dot/blog marks are from Creative Devotions.
